Arthur A. Park is of counsel to the firm and head of the Probate Practice Group. Mr. Park is a native San Franciscan and attended local schools and the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated from the Georgetown Law Center and following service as a trial attorney with the Federal Maritime Commission in Washington D.C., has maintained a practice in San Francisco since 1968.

Mr. Park has extensive estate planning experience, including the drafting of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. He has been involved in the establishment or administration of over 300 conservatorships and has acted in the capacity as attorney for the conservator, the proposed conservatee and interested third parties.

He has successfully litigated many probate cases including will and trust contests and fiduciary surcharge proceedings. Reported Appellate cases include: Bank of Montreal v. Kough, 430 F.Supp 1299 (N.D. Cal. 1977) affd. 612 F. 2d. 467 C9th (1980); Airlines Reporting Corp. v. United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co., 31 Cal. App. 4th 1458 (1995); Estate of Starkweather, 64 Cal. App. 4th 580 (1998).

Mr. Park is a member of the San Francisco Superior Court panel of attorneys whom the Court appoints to represent proposed conservatees or other interested parties. Mr. Park also mediates probate and trust litigation in his role as a member of the San Francisco Superior Court Probate and Trust Litigation Mediation Panel.
